It is easy to root Huawei P10 Plus on EMUI 5.1 Android 7.0 Nougat. For this root an unlocked bootloader and TWRP recovery installed is very important. You will use SuperSu method for root.
How to Root Huawei P10 Plus with SuperSU
Before root must remember some information. They are-
- This process only applicable for Huawei P10 Plus.
- Must store your phones data before root for backup.
- This will void your warranty.
- Bootloader should be unlocked.

Step 1:
At first download SuperSu to your computer.
Step 2:
Connect your P10 Plus phone to your computer using the USB cable.
Step 3:
Now copy/paste the downloaded superuser-r275.zip file to your internal storage. Make sure the file is in the internal storage root (not in any folder).
Step 4:
Turn off P10 Plus and disconnect from the USB cable.
Step 5:
Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Down + Power buttons together to get TWRP Recovery mode.
After rooting Huawei P10 Plus, you will be able to install system mods, change how the signal bar or battery indicator looks like and install custom themes.
