how much will it cost

According to media reports, the company has been working on the Himalayan 650 for about 18 months. Earlier, Royal Enfield thought that it would be difficult to use such a heavy engine on an adventure motorcycle. So, he started working on other projects. However, when he saw that there was a lot of demand for the motorcycle, he gave the go-ahead to the Himalayan 650 project. The ex-showroom price of the motorcycle could be around Rs 4 lakh and the company could launch it under a different name.

how will be the new bike

According to reports, bike lovers were expecting that the Himalayan 650 bike would be an adventure vehicle like the Himalayan 411, but it is not. According to the report, it will be a soft-roader and will be launched in two variants. There will be an alloy wheel variant and a spoke wheel variant. The alloy wheels will be retained as the sports tourer, while the spoke wheels will be retained as the adventure tourer.

Unlike the 21-inch wheel used on the Himalayan 411, the Himalayan 650 will use a 19-inch front wheel. While the rear wheels will be 17-inch. The motorcycle is expected to use dual-purpose tyres. Since it is a tourer bike, it will get more ground clearance and seat height will also be higher. The design of the new motorcycle will be similar to the Himalayan 411.
