Samsung has had a busy year in terms of phone and tablet launches. The South Korean company has launched several devices in different price ranges, including the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 series. Samsung has also unveiled many products in various categories. And now the company ended the year with the launch of Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 laptop. However, this laptop was launched earlier this year. Yes, the company launched Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 with Intel 12th gen processor in February 2022. And now Samsung has launched another variant of the laptop with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset Let's take a closer look at the price and specifications of the new version of the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360.
Specifications of Qualcomm Snapdragon Edition of Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360
Inside the new Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8CX Gen 3 chipset. It is the first 5 nanometer-based processor for Windows-on-ARM devices. But, the chipset is not new, as it has been available in the market for quite some time. The Snapdragon 8CX Gen 3 chip is claimed to offer up to 85 percent better multi-core CPU performance and 60 percent better GPU performance.
However, except for the processor, the rest of the hardware of the new Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is the same as the version with the Intel 12th generation chipset. This “2-in-1” laptop has a 13.3-inch screen. Its AMOLED display can be flipped 360 degrees to be used as a tablet. It also supports Samsung's S Pen stylus. The maximum brightness of the screen is 500 nits.
Again, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 laptop with Qualcomm Snapdragon is claimed to offer almost twice the battery life compared to the Intel variant. Samsung says the Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered model will offer up to 35 hours of battery life. In comparison, the Intel variant is capable of delivering up to 21 hours of battery life on a single charge. This new Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 laptop has multiple ports including USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack. It weighs around 1.04 kg and is 11.5 mm thin It runs on the Windows 11 operating system and complies with Microsoft's Secure-Corred PC standard.
Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 Price
In South Korea, the Snapdragon chipset variant of the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 has been priced at 18,90,000 won (roughly Rs. 1,23,800). In comparison, the Intel variant was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1,15,990.
Notably, for an additional price, users can get superior connectivity with in-built 5G and Wi-Fi 6E support on the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. However, Samsung is yet to confirm when the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will hit the Indian market.
