The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP bike has been launched in India at a price of Tk 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first bike in the company's Race Performance sub-brand. The bike is more expensive than all current Apache models.

The TVS Apache range of motorbikes has quite a reputation for blazing performance. TVS has come up with a new model of Apache to increase the craze of bikers. The name of the latest bike is TVS Apache RTR 165 RP. Among the attractive features, this performance-oriented bike has 19.2hp and 14.2Nm of torque. This latest Apache bike has a single cylinder 164.9cc engine.

The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP bike has been launched in India at a price of Tk 2.00 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first bike in the company's Race Performance sub-brand. The bike is more expensive than all current Apache models. Even the top-spec version i.e. Apache RTR 160 2V priced at Tk 1.21 lakh is more expensive than that. The most powerful variant is the TVS Apache RTR 2004V (Tk. 1.39 lakh) and the latest model is more expensive than that.

TVS Apache RTR 165RP Specifications, Features

The most interesting feature of this latest model is its reworked engine. The car is powered by a 164.9cc, four valve single cylinder engine that produces 19.2hp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 8750rpm. Its power figure is much higher than all the 160cc motorcycles available in India at the moment.

Says TVS, “The bike has 15 percent larger valves to control high-lift high-duration cams. There are dual spring actuators for racier engine performance. Other important changes in this latest model from the previous model include a revised 1.37 brake stroke ratio that offers free-revving up to the redline. There is also a new dome piston with a higher compression ratio.”

TVS Apache RTR 165 RP - Latest Bikes in Bangladesh

This bike has slipper clutch, adjustable brake and clutch levers. This bike allows to use 5 speed gearbox. Apart from the frame and brakes, the other mechanical components of this bike are largely identical to the RTR 160 4V model. According to TVS, the suspension of this bike has been retuned. But there is no adjustable suspension. The weight of this latest bike is only 148 kg. However, it weighs only 2 kg more than the RTR 160 4V model.

In terms of design, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and TVS Apache RTR 165 RP are quite similar, but in terms of color scheme and seat cover, the new bike is excellent. However, it has been informed by TVS that this latest model is limited to 200 units.
