ফোন সেট পানিতে পড়লে যা করবেন
ফোনের ধুলা বা পানি সহ্য করার ক্ষমতা কত তা আইপি রেটিং দিয়ে বোঝানো হয়। কোনো ফোনের অফিশিয়াল ইনগ্রাস প্রোটেকশন (আইপি) ওয়াটার রেজিস্ট্যান্ট রেটিং না থাকলে ধরে নিতে হবে ফোনটি পানিনিরোধী বা ওয়ার রেজিস্ট্যান্ট নয়।
সব পরিস্থিতিতে রেটিং কাজ নাও করতে পারে, তাই পানিতে ফোন ভেজানো উচিত নয়। যদি অসাবধানতাবশত ফোন পানিতে পড়েই যায়, তবে কয়েকটি কাজ করুন।
১. পানিতে ফোন পড়ে গেলে যত দ্রুত পারবেন তা তুলে ফেলুন। কারণ বেশি সময় ডুবে থাকলে ফোনের ক্ষতিও বেশি হবে।
২. ফোন তুলেই তা সুইচ অফ করে দিন। ফোন অন থাকলে সার্কিট বোর্ড নষ্ট হবার আশঙ্কা বেশি থাকে। তাই পরে ফোনটি কাজ নাও করতে পারে। তবে পানিতে ডোবার পর যদি বন্ধ হয়ে যায়, তবে তা অন হয় কি না তা পরীক্ষা করবেন। চালু হলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই ফোন আবার বন্ধ করে দিন।
৩. ফোনটির পানি মুছে দিলে শুধু ওপরটা শুকাবে। ভেতরে ঢোকা পানি শুকাতে একটি বাটিতে চাল নিয়ে তাতে ফোন রাখতে হবে। এমনভাবে ফোনটি চালের ভেতর রাখবেন যেন তা পুরোপুরি ঢেকে যায়। ফোনের ভেতরে থাকা সব পানি চাল শুষে নেবে।
৪. এ ছাড়া যদি ঘরে সিলিকা থাকে তাহলে একটি প্যাকেটে সিলিকা ভর্তি করে তাতে ফোন রেখে দিন। এতে ফোনের ভেতরে থাকা আর্দ্রতা টেনে নেবে সিলিকা।
৫. চাল বা সিলিকা যেটাই ব্যবহার করেন না কেন, একটানা ৩ দিন সেগুলোতে ফোন রেখে দিন। তা না হলে ফোন পুরোপুরি শুকাবে না। ৩ দিন পর ফোন অন করতে হবে। যদি অন না হয় তাহলে নিয়ে যান সার্ভিস সেন্টারে।
সার্ভিস সেন্টারের টেকনিশিয়ানকে সব কথা খুলে বলুন। সার্ভিস সেন্টারে আনার আগে যদি নিজেই ফোন খোলার চেষ্টা করেন সেটাও বলুন। তা না হলে টেকনিশিয়ানের অজান্তেই আপনার ফোনের আরও বড় ক্ষতি হতে পারে।
যা করবেন না
১. ফোনে ঢোকা পানি শুকানোর জন্য হেয়ার ড্রায়ার ব্যবহার করবেন না। কারণ হেয়ার ড্রায়ার ফোন গরম করে ফেলবে। এতে ফোনের সার্কিট গলে যেতে পারে।
২. পানি ঢুকলে ফোন ঝাঁকাঝাঁকি করবেন না। এতে হিতে বিপরীত হবে। পানি বের না হয়ে উল্টো সার্কিটের ভেতরে পানি চলে যেতে পারে।
৩. ব্যাটারিতে পানি ঢুকেছে কি না তা জানতে ফোন খুলবেন না। এমনকি ব্যাটারিও সরাবেন না।
এসব বিষয় একটু সতর্কতার সঙ্গে করুন, আপনার ফোনটি আবার আগের মতো কাজ করবে।
মোবাইল ফোন পানিতে ভিজলে যা করবেন
মোবাইল ফোন হঠাৎ করেই পানিতে পরে ভিজে গেলে তাৎক্ষণিক কী করতে হবে তা হয়তো আমরা অনেক জানি না। তবে জানা থাকলে ফোনটি নষ্ট হওয়া থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়া যেতে পারে। জেনে নেই পানিতে মোবাইল ফোন ভিজলে কী করতে হবে।
১। ফোনে বৃষ্টির পানিতে ভিজে গেলে প্রথমে পরিষ্কার করে মুছে ফেলুন। যত বেশি তরল পদার্থ থাকবে ফোনটি তত তাড়াতাড়ি ফোনের বিভিন্ন পার্টস খারাপ হওয়ার আশঙ্কা থাকবে। বেশিক্ষণ থাকলে শর্ট সার্কিট হয়ে যেতে পারে। এতে ফোনে থাকা সমস্ত ডেটা মুছে যায়।
২। ফোন স্টার্ট করার আগে ভালো করে মুছে নিন। ফোনের ভেতরের সব কিছু, অর্থাৎ ব্যাটারি, সিম কার্ড, মেমরি কার্ড খুলে ফেলুন শিগগিরই। ফোনের খোলা অংশগুলি একটি শুকনো কাপড়ে মুছে কাপড়টি মুড়ে রেখে দিন। দেখবেন ফোনের কোনও ক্ষতি হবে না। ফোনের ভেতরের অংশ পাতলা কাপড় দিয়ে ভালো করে মুছে ফেলুন।
৩। সিম কার্ডও বাইরে বের করে রাখুন। এরপর ফোনের ভিতর ভালো করে মুছে ফেলুন। তারপর সিম কার্ড ইনসার্ট করুন।
৪। ফোনে স্ক্রিন গার্ড লাগানো থাকলে সেটাও খুলে রাখুন।

What should you do if you drop your phone in water?
Take your smartphone out of the water immediately and dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.
If the phone is on, switch it off straight away. Resist the urge to unlock it and check it’s working as this could stop it working further down the line. If it’s switched off, leave it off.
If possible, take the back off and remove the battery (unfortunately you can't do this with an iPhone and other high-end smartphones). Eject the SIM card and memory card if you have one.
Gently shake your smartphone to remove any water in the headphone port, charging socket and other ports.
Pop your smartphone in a bowl of dry rice, covering it fully, and leave for a minimum of 48 hours.
When the 48 hours is up, check the ports for rice and remove any grains with a small pair of tweezers. Now you can switch on your phone. If it works, make sure you back up all your data immediately, in case it stops working again.
First Things First
Before we get into how to go about drying your phone, there are a couple of things you should do immediately after removing the phone from the liquid.
Make sure to turn off the phone. We want to prevent the phone from short circuiting.
If you can, go ahead and remove the battery. This isn’t possible on a lot of phones, like the iPhone, but if you can, remove it immediately.
Remove the SIM card if you can. It’s not a big deal, but if you have important data stored on there, especially for Android users, you might be able to save all that data by removing the card.
Now, let’s talk about drying your phone. First, make sure to keep it off for at least two days and remove any cases or covers from the device.
Initial Drying
One mistake I made originally was shaking my phone a lot. I thought that it would help remove the water, but later on I found out it simply help the water get to other parts of the phone.
In addition to not shaking the phone, go ahead and wipe off any visible water off the surface of the device. If you can open the phone, dry any internal parts gently.
Drying Techniques
Hair Dryer
There are a bunch of different things you can at this point. Another big mistake that I had made was using a hair dryer incorrectly. It seems like the perfect choice for drying something out right? Wrong! You can use a hair dryer, but only use the fan or cool setting. Do not use any heat setting on the hair dryer.
Vacuums
You should also avoid using vacuums as they can cause more damage than help. If you have a small computer vacuum and there is an attachment that creates a good seal with the phone, then give it a shot.
Otherwise, I don’t recommend trying to use your home vacuum as static electricity can damage the circurity in the device.
Uncooked Rice
The best option is to put your phone into a plastic bag, fill it with rice or quinoa, seal the bag and let it is sit for several days.
The downside is that you have to wait a long time, but it’s definitely worth the wait. This method works well and many people swear by it.
