Bajaj Platina is one of the most popular bikes in its segment and now the company has prepared it for even better performance by equipping it with Anti Lock Braking System (ABS). This bike is available for sale in a total of four colours.

Bajaj Auto has today launched its new Bajaj Platina 110 in the market for the enthusiasts of economical and better mileage two-wheelers. It is the cheapest bike equipped with Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) in the country. It is the first bike in the 110 cc segment to get the ABS feature. Adorned with attractive looks and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this commuter bike has been fixed at just 72,224 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

This is an updated version in a way and the company has included some special technology and features in it. This bike has a single cylinder air cooled engine of 115.45 cc capacity, which is equipped with fuel injected technology. This engine generates power of 8.4 bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox.

What is special about the new bike

In the front of the new Platina 110 ABS, the company has given dual spring-loaded and shock observer suspension at the rear. The company claims that it offers a comfortable ride along with better performance in the segment. The front wheel gets a disc brake with Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), while the rear wheel gets a regular drum brake. Equipped with single channel ABS, this bike also gets a digital instrument cluster, in which all the information related to the bike is displayed.

Speaking at the launch of the bike, Sarang Kanade, President, Motorcycles - Bajaj Auto said, "India accounts for the highest number of road accidents in the world, of which 45% are two-wheeler accidents. About the Indian consumer Our understanding is that commuter riders are often faced with panic braking scenarios and it becomes necessary to provide them with better braking facilities. ABS has been included in this bike to provide better safety to the drivers. and to provide balanced braking"

According to the rules in the Indian market, it is mandatory to use Combi Braking System (CBS) in bikes below 125 cc engine capacity and Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) in bikes 125 cc and above. But Bajaj Auto has done a better experiment by including ABS in this 115 cc bike. This bike is available for sale in a total of four colors, in which colors like Ebony Black, Gloss Pewter Grey, Cocktail Wine Red and Sapphire Blue are available.
