Honda CB1000R 2024
The Honda CB1000R reviewed in depth in 2024 More powerful, lighter and more sophisticated. British friends at BikeSocial have discovered a registration patent for a new Honda CB1000R. Analyzing the sketches, we can see that this bike is different from the current model - and a lot It, despite being an excellent and noble sports naked, is off the hook in both power and equipment compared to the competition.
The 143 CV of the current Honda CB1000R is far from the 165-180 CV of the current S 1000 R, Super Duke 1290, MT-10 or Speed Triple 1200 RS, to name a few examples. With a neo-retro aesthetic, the current CB1000R mounts the in-line four-cylinder from the 2008 CBR1000RR. Knowing that CBs usually mount the CBR engine of the previous generation, it is logical to assume that the new Honda CB1000R would use the one from the 2009-2019 version , which in the hyper sports car yielded 190 CV declared in its latest version (2018-2019). And why not the current 217 hp CBR1000RR-R engine? Let's not rule it out. With this engine it would fight with the Ducati Streetfighter V4, MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR and the future BMW S1000R 2023.
This means that for the hypernaked it would be easy to get between 160 and 170 hp, achieving a flatter delivery than the CBR.
Curious is the exhaust of the motorcycle in the sketch (nº 17), with two superimposed outlets and notably far from each other. We doubt that the reason is merely aesthetic. Perhaps it incorporates some type of valve that regulates the exit of the gases.
As for the frame, the usual one in steel tubes has been abandoned. The new CB now uses an aluminum half-shell split into two parts and with the top of the mooe anchored. The single-sided swingarm is maintained, pivoted directly to the engine, and the shock absorber is positioned horizontally to the left of the 4-cylinder to center the masses. The swingarm integrates the chain guard while the license plate fender is fixed to the swingarm and integrates the two direction indicators.
Design, flaps sprout
2024 Honda CB1000R On Way. In terms of design, the new CB1000RR appears with a different style from the current model. The light-tail unit has very fluid lines, and there are aerodynamic fins, but while the CBR has integrated them on the sides of the fairing, the new CB1000R has them on the sides of the radiator. Classy and More Capable Bike Parts
As for the cycle part, the usual steel tube spine system is abandoned. This CB now uses a two-piece aluminum half-monocoque reminiscent of that used on the Panigale and Streetfighter V4. As on Italian motorcycles, it is fixed to the top of the engine and supports the steering head. Honda Rebel 1100T 2023
Anatomy of Mountain Bike Parts & Components. The single-sided swingarm is maintained, which is anchored directly to the engine. As in the Italian bike, the shock absorber is located horizontally on the left side of the engine to center the masses.
The single-sided swingarm is attached to the engine itself. A rod (14a) joins the swingarm with the progressivity linkages (14) that attack the shock absorber (13) located to the right of the engine, as in the Ducati Panigale and Streetfighter.
From the swingarm itself, a rod starts that attacks a linkage triangle that manages to create progressiveness. This swingarm integrates the chain guard, which in turn seems to run inside the swingarm itself.
Another detail that could not be missing in a latest generation sports naked are the ailerons or 'winglets'. The CB1000R also mounts them, fixed on the sides of the radiator and must exert a few kilos of pressure at high speed. In this case they are very different from those of the CBR, which has them integrated into the sides of the fairing. Put to imagine, it is hard for us to believe that all this development, especially in what affects the cycle part, is only left in the naked.
