LG Gram Style
Speaking of the Gram Style variant first, there are two different display size variants available: a 14-inch model and one that is 16 inches. The former has a resolution of 2, 880 x 1, 800px( WQXGA+), whereas the latter has one of 3, 200x 2000 pixels. Both models also have an OLED display panel. The 14-inch variant offers a 90Hz refresh rate, while the taller 16 inch variant even offers 120Hz. Anti-glare panels are also present on the Style models.
The device is powered by Intel's most recent 13th Gen Core Processor, which is also 256GB of Gen4 NVMe SSD storage and 16GB RAM. The CPU is also paired with Intel's integrated graphics, Iris Xe. The 14-inch model weighs just 999 grams, compared to the 16-inch model's 1, 230-gram weight. Depending on the size variant you choose, the laptops are also equipped with either an 80Wh or a 72WH battery pack.
LG Gram 2023
Along with the 2023 lineup of the standard Gram laptops, the company has also introduced two variants. This includes two models: a 14-inch model with the same WQXGA panel, and one that is 17 inches in size with 2, 560 x 1, 600px resolution. Notably, both models have IPS LCD panels for the screens. The smaller version, however, only supports refresh rates of 60Hz. The Gram 17 also has a typical refresh rate of 60Hz and up to 144Hz refresh rates( VRR).
These laptops can also be outfitted with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3050 mobile GPUs in addition to their 13th generation Intel Core processors. This makes it possible for the 17-inch variant to support VRR( Variable Refresh Rate), which, depending on usage, can automatically change the refresh rate from 31Hz to 144Hz. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI connectivity are additional noteworthy features, and the Dolby Atmos makes its debut in the Gram lineup.
Pricing & Availability
The cost of the 14-inch LG Gram Style model with a 13th-generation Intel Core i5 is 2.49 million won( roughly 2, 018 US dollars). The 16 inch variant, on the other hand, has a price tag of 2.74 million won( roughly 2, 221 US Dollars). Meanwhile, the Gram 16 inch with an i5 CPU can be pre ordered for 2, 44 million won( roughly 1, 977 US Dollars) while the 17 inch model costs 2. 59 million won( roughly 2, 099 US Dollars).
Reservations for these laptops have already been made by the company, and they will remain in place in South Korea through February 1st. According to the official notes, those who pre-order these notebooks will receive a gram mouse, gift pack, and goodies on the first come, first served basis.
