MG Comet compact EV
For the Indian market, MG Motors has just unveiled its most recent electric vehicle model. Here are all the specifics of the new car, the MG Comet compact EV, which will aim to compete with other reasonably priced and compact electric vehicles.
For those who aren't aware, there are some small models available on the Indian auto market, including the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3. The new Comet has three doors and a tall boy design. Because of this, it is quite small, which helps to keep its price and power consumption low. For some time now, the company had been hinting at the launch of this model in India, and it has now made its debut there. Its cost is still unknown, but it will be made public later this year.
The new electric vehicle is obviously designed for urban transportation in cities because of its small size. Despite having a relatively small overall footprint, the tall boy design makes sure there is enough room inside. Users are even given customization options, such as skins and other body wraps, and this model is also available in a variety of vibrant colors. Aerodynamic wheel caps, LED lighting, dual-tone roof, and even a parking camera are additional notable design features.
The MG Comet EV most likely has a 41 horsepower engine with peak torque of 110Nm. A 17.3kWh battery pack that promises to provide a maximum operational range of 230 kilometers will power this engine. A 3.3kW charger can charge this battery from 0 to 100% in about 7 hours.
