Neptune MBG6 mini-PC
MINISFORUM has unveiled a number of mini-PCs in the past few months that primarily use laptop-grade processors. Some of the processors used in the mini-PCs include the AMD Ryzen 7 series and UM773 Lite. The AMD Ryzen 7 5700X APU, on the other hand, is used by the Neptune MBG6. The AMD Vermeer series includes the 65W-rated Ryzen 7 5700X. The advancements the processor makes over the 45W counterparts are not yet apparent. It however lacks integrated graphics which are present in the laptop- version processors.
The Ryzen 7 5700X lack of integrated graphics results in more processing power for the processor. It will use all of its 65W TDP to work with CPUs, which improves performance. The Radeon RX 6600M GPU will complement the Ryzen 7 5700X. A Navi 23-based GPU with 28 compute units, 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and up to 100W TDP is the Radeon RX 6600M. In comparison to earlier Radeon 6000 series APUs, the GPU provides performance improvements of up to three times.
The Neptune MBG6 mini-PC's performance in terms of fine optics has not yet been fully established. The product's pricing information has not yet been disclosed by MINISFORUM. However, we anticipate the release of the Neptune MBG6 in March 2023. As we get closer to the MINISFORUM MBG6 mini-PC's official unveiling, more information will become available.
