It seems like a century has passed since the debut of OnePlus' first smart TV: now, after the launch of the Y and U series and after entering the world of monitors with the X range, the Chinese house is back to its origins with its first family of televisions. The first leaks on OnePlus TV Q2 and Q2 Pro are underway: let's take stock of the situation on technical specifications, price and market release.

At the moment there are details only on the Pro model and it is not known whether this will be launched alone or in the company of a basic variant, as happened with the first Q1 and Q1 Pro. The new smart TV will be equipped with a 65 ″ diagonal QLED display with 4K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. We therefore have various improvements compared to the initial models, both in screen size and refresh rate.

In terms of specifications there are scattered details: OnePlus TV Q2 Pro would have an increased amount of RAM, which would rise to 3 GB. In terms of storage we are talking about 32 GB of storage space. Great space also for the audio part, entrusted to a 70W main speaker with Dolby Atmos support. We have no news on the chipset but it is likely that we will find a MeidaTek solution. On the software side, in a nutshell it will be a TV with Google TV but with a customized OxygenPlay interface.

Price and presentation date of OnePlus TV Q2 Pro remain unknown. We recall that the previous models were launched in India at around €900 and €1,200 at the current exchange rate; probably also the new generation will move on these figures.
