Royal Enfield launched its flagship cruiser bike Super Meteor 650 at the bike show in Milan, Italy. Now the company has announced the launch day of the bike. The bike will be launched in the Indian market on January 16 this year. The price of Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be announced on the day of launch.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Cruiser offers 43mm USD front fork and monoshock absorber. For braking the cruiser motorcycle has disc brakes with dual channel ABS on both the wheels. Features include a twin pod instrument cluster, tripper navigation and other features present on the bike.
The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648 cc parallel twin, air and oil cooled engine to give the rider a smooth ride. Which will produce a maximum power of 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of styling, the Super Meteor 65 is very attractive. Its design is very similar to cruiser bike Meteor 350. The company will offer various accessory packs and color options for the Super Meteor 65. The bike is available in three colours: Blue, Black and Green. Apart from this, Interstellar Gray and Interstellar Green color options will also be available.
The tubular frame used in the Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 is present in this model. This Royal Enfield flagship bike features LED headlights, taillights, navigation pod with USB charging port and Bluetooth connectivity. The Super Meteor 65 Cruiser uses 43 MM USD telescopic forks on the front wheels for suspension. The rear wheels have preload adjustable spring suspension.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is expected to be priced at Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). After the launch it will take the place of the company's flagship bike. That means this is going to be their most expensive model.
