Suzuki Brings New Sports Bike, May Launch Next Year, Check Features

Suzuki Motor Corporation recently unveiled an all-new naked motorbike series called the GSX-8S at the EICMA 2022 exhibition. This bike is a model between SV650 and GSX-S1000GT. The company has revealed that the bike line-up will be available for sale in Europe and North America from March next year. As of now, there is no information from the company whether the bike will be launched in India or not.

Talking about the engine of the bike, the Suzuki GSX-8S is powered by a 776 cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine, which comes with Suzuki cross balancer and 270 degree crankshaft design. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 83 Bhp. The gearbox of the bike comes with a six-speed unit. Suzuki Intruder 250 bike is very good performance.

According to Suzuki, the fuel efficiency of this new bike is 23.8 kmpl, which is higher than the V-Strom 1050. This is because the GSX-8S weighs around 30kg less than the V-Strom 800DE.

Interestingly, a steel frame is used for the GSX-8S, which is designed to be thin, light, compact, highly agile and performance enhancing. It gets 17-inch wheels shod on lightweight cast aluminum tires.

For braking, the Suzuki GSX-8S gets a 310 mm floating-mount disc at the front and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear. The frame is mated to a KYB link-type rear suspension adjustable by 130 mm at the front. Talking about features, it includes ride by wire, low rpm assist, dual-channel ABS, Suzuki Easy Start System, two-way quick shift system and all LED lighting. The instrument cluster is a full five-inch color TFT unit.
