The Super Mario Bros 

latest animated movie The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a 2023 American computer-animated adventure film based on Nintendo's Mario video game franchise. created by Illumination, Universal Pictures, and Nintendo, and distributed by Universal, it was guided by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, co-guided by Pierre Leduc and Fabien Polack, and written by Matthew Fogel. The ensemble voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, and Fred Armisen. The film features an origin story for the brothers Mario and Luigi, two Italian-American plumbers who are transported to an alternate world and become entangled in a battle between the Mushroom Kingdom, led by Princess Peach, and the Koopas, led by Bowser.

Story of The Super Mario Bros 

Italian and American brothers Mario, Luigi have newly started a plumbing business in Brooklyn. father disapproves of Mario's decision to leave his steady job under his antagonistic ex-employer Spike and believes he's dragging Luigi down with him. Mario and Luigi go underground to fix a significant manhole leak after reading about it on the news, but they get separated after getting caught in the warp pipe.


Luigi resides in the Dark Lands, ruled by the evil Koopa king Bowser, while Mario lives in Princess Peach's's Mushroom Kingdom. If Peach rejects Bowser's's proposal to marry her, he will use a Super Star to overthrow the Mushroom Kingdom. In order to threaten Mario, whom he views as a rival for Peach's's affection, Luigi is imprisoned. Toad takes Mario to Peach after they meet.



Peach agrees to bring Mario and Toad along in order to join forces with the primate Kongs in fending off Bowser. King Cranky Kong of the Jungle Kingdom agrees to assist if Mario fights his son Donkey Kong. Mario uses a Cat Suit to defeat Donkey Kong despite his incredible strength.
