Xiaomi unveiled a number of new smart home products for the Indian market at its Smarter Living 2023 event, which was held earlier today( April 13th, 2023). Let's's take a look at the two new air purifier models that the company announced as part of the new announcements.
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4
The Smart Air Purifier 4 is the first model of the new smart air purifiers that the Chinese tech behemoth has just unveiled. This model, which was unveiled by the company's's CMO Anuj Sharma, also includes a new Activated Carbon Filter, Negative Air Ionizer, and True HEPA Fulter pre-filter. Additionally, the Smart Air Purifier 4 comes with formaldehyde absorption technology and Filtration+ TUV allergy care certifications.
The model has a CADR( clean air delivery rate) of 400 meter cubic per hour and can cover up to 516 square feet. Its 360 degree air suction technology makes this possible. Even a dedicated Sleep Mode that reduces noise to just 32.1 decibels and turns off the indicator light can be used to operate it. Users can easily access the fans to clean it. The new air purifier also has an OLED display with two buttons— a power button and a mode-changing button.
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite, a new air purifier from the company, was also introduced. As its name implies, it is a slightly smaller model that uses less space while still dispensing large amounts of air. It can cover up to 463 square feet of space and has a CADR of 360 meters per hour. Additionally, the device has a 360 degree air suction, an ionizer, HEPA 13 filter, and Formaldehyde absorption.
Additionally, this model has an LED display and a 33.4 decibel low noise mode. It can essentially filter out all of the visible and invisible pollutants in the air in your home, just like its more expensive sibling. Particles with sizes of PM 2.5, PM 10, and even gas fumes fall under this category. Additionally, these are designed to effectively remove allergens from the air. They can also be connected to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free control because they are smart home appliances.
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 costs 13,999 Indian rupees. With bank discounts of up to 750 INR, the company's's official website, offline retail partners, and even Amazon India will list its early sale, which begins on April 20, 2023. On April 23, 2023, the Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite will be available for purchase for 9,999 INR.
